Every year brings something new, giving us the perfect chance to change our look a bit and enjoy a new style. It is so cool to go to the shops and find a whole new world of options. In anticipation, we are sharing Summer Blouse and Shirt Fashion Trends to get us prepared.
Summer Blouse and Shirt Fashion Trends
I am getting all my ideas from this retailer because they are stocking nearly 400 different types of women’s blouses and shirts! This has to be the place to find the perfect top for the summer! Here is a rundown of what you can find and indulge in: Today, I am going to focus on tops, and tell you about the latest blouse and shirt trends. As you can see, this year, there is an amazing choice. As an example, this retailer is stocking nearly 400 different types of women´s blouses and shirts in their range.
There is no doubt that the styles that we remember from the late 80s and early 90s are making a bit of a comeback. You will find plenty of generously cut print shirts and some really nice Cami style tops.
Most shops are also stocking tunics and kimonos, both of which were quite popular in the 90s. Again the cuts are baggy, which is both comfortable and flattering.
Brighter colors and more textures
For the past few years, women´s tops have been a little muted. The majority of designers seem to have been playing it safe by sticking to a relatively muted colour palette. That has changed for 2017. There is a lot of hot pink and reds creeping in. Given the fact there are other bright colors appearing on the catwalks, you can expect to see bright greens, vibrant blues and yellows later in the season.
Bare your shoulders
Cut out shoulder tops were very popular last year, so it is not a surprise to see them in many of this year’s collections. They are joined by off the shoulder cuts, and strappy Cami-tops. If these shoulder-baring tops are not for you, but you still want to stay cool there are also lots of vest style blouses available.
The vast majority of the blouses I have seen this year are cut to hang loosely. They are also quite long. Most finish mid-thigh, especially the tunics and Mexican style tops. The majority, are designed to be worn either tucked in or loose. This makes them really versatile. You can easily wear them at the weekend, un-tucked, over jeans or tucked into a skirt or smart pair of trousers
Without a doubt, with so much choice, finding the shirts or blouses you want is easier than it has ever been. This year, it is not difficult to create a look that works for you.
