I dream of race tracks, speed, and adventure. These days my mom life gives me school tracks, speed in hurrying everyone to school and the adventure of running around the city getting everything checked off my list. My dream is has a slightly different reality, but it is a dream come true 🙂 Now, key to all this for this very cool diva at heart is comfort and help. Since we spend so much time in our cars in South Florida, I am constantly looking for A Fun and Efficient Ride. It is time we talk about the Subaru Impreza 2017.
A Fun and Efficient Ride
Before we talk about fun and efficient. I have to tell you about parking lot envy! I parked the Subaru Impreza 2017 at the far end of the lot. I wanted to make sure nothing happened to the car while I was driving it around town. When I come out back to the parking there were two ladies checking the car out! As I approached they started asking me about the car. Lucky for them I had been driving it for a few days and told them all about the comfort, fuel efficiency, and the new design. Honestly, the way it drives and feels is just like a little luxe sedan. As a matter of fact, the 2017 Subaru Impreza features the Subaru Global Platform architecture. It is quite important because it is designed to deliver significantly higher levels of driving pleasure, agility, crash protection and ride comfort.
Fun ride
The leather trimmed plush seats made my every ride. Most of all, I had fun at the wheel! No drive was too close or too far. I wanted every trip to be in the Subaru Impreza. I felt comfortable and as it the car fit me like a glove. That says a lot because I am petite. Many times I find that unless I bring the seat right on top of the steering wheel I can’t reach the pedals. I hate that. I want what the Subaru Impreza gave: ample reach for my arms while my feet were near the gas and brake pedals. I give this car as many thumbs up for cool ergonomics for petite gals.
Another big plus for me is that the car automatically paired my phone and I had instant access to car play. So, play we did 🙂 (Apple CarplayTM and Android AutoTM; AhaTM and Pandora®; Bluetooth® hands-free phone and text connectivity and audio streaming are all available)
Efficient ride
I loved the easy with which I was able to move around in the car. Parking was a breeze not only thanks to the generous-seized rear camera screen, but also because the steering was smooth. To pass a car or make the (ehem yellow) light, I did not have to put the pedal to the metal and use tons of gas. A little goes a long way in the Subaru Impreza.
Impressive Safety
SUBARU STARLINKâ„¢
Not only did fun and efficiency stand out in the Subaru Impreza; safety did too in a big way. Have you heard about SUBARU STARLINKâ„¢? It is responsible for:
- Safety & Security features include SOS Emergency Assistance
- Automatic Collision Notification
- Monthly Vehicle Health Report
- Diagnostic Alerts,
- Remote Lock/Unlock
- Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service
It is really instinctive to use and extremely helpful. You have to try it ou!
Award Winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology
In tandem, the EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology helped me with the car features I can’t live without anymore that include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Lane Keep Assist; also includes Blind Spot Detection. What I hadn’t experienced before was the reverse automatic braking which yes, thank you, I need as well.
Blown Away By the Subaru Impreza
Well, it is not every day that you feel so cared for by a car. As much as I was enjoying the safety features of the Subaru Impreza, I was totally blown away when I got this message:
“Search for rest area? You have been driving for a long time. Would you like to search for rest areas nearby to take a break?” Can you believe it? The lengths the car goes to to ensure I am a safe driver and keep me safe is simply hands down amazing. Can your car do that?
More help and comfort
Keyless entry? check. Power seats? check. Roof rail? love the look Subaru – check. Dual cupholders for rear seat? check. Moonroof? check. Tire pressure monitoring? check. 7 airbags? check. I still can continue listing things for you. Bottom line: the Subaru Impreza is loaded and has it all – minus the maid to clean the car, but that is a whole new topic.
I have seen the commercials where the car is handed down to kids. I would have a hard time letting go such an awesome car!
I can’t encourage you enough to go out and discover the Subaru Impreza. If you have already, what did you like the most? If you have not, tell me what features are you dying to test out on the Subaru Impreza?

What a wonderful review! It makes me want one for sure. We have five children so a car like this wouldn’t be practical for my family, but a girl can dream! 😉 So many awesome add-ons!
