I know all too well the feeling of being away from home and family for the holidays. My one experience being stranded at an airport on Christmas Eve made me realize long ago that the best thing about the holidays is being with family. Regardless of how we celebrate or what happens, as long as we are together, I am whole. That alone gets me ready to celebrate! So, I am thrilled to partner up with Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room programs, RMHC. That is because they offer places for families to stay just steps from the hospitals where their children are receiving critical medical care. That means that families can keep together while their kids are receiving the medical treatments they need. Priceless! Now we too can contribute, and Give the gift of Togetherness This Holiday Season.
The Joy of Keeping Families Together
The holiday festivities always bring us further closer together. There is never a dull moment preparing with family, and celebrating with those we love and cherish. The holidays are also wonderful opportunity to reconnect. Of course, these festive moments can become cherished memories. Having a sick child should not stop a family from having all this. I can’t underline enough the importance of the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room programs, RMHC year round and especially during the holidays. RMHC give the joy of keeping families with sick children together. So very important, don’t you agree?
Give the gift of Togetherness This Holiday Season
For the holidays our family usually sticks together stronger than ever as we eat and are usually merry on a beach somewhere. Quite honestly, the setting doesn’t matter as long as we get to spend quality time together. I am sure it is the same for you. Let’s make sure families with sick children get all the most precious gifts of all: joy, courage, comfort, strength and above all togetherness. We can make this happen by making a donation the RMHC. As we count our blessings, let us remember to extend them to a family that can use it this season: donate to RMHC today here at RMHC.org/donate. Your gift is so much more than money. You will give family togetherness and so much more! Ready to spread out holiday cheer by making your invaluable contribution?

I can’t imagine not being with family on holidays – or any day. I live for my family and would be totally lost without them.

I just love this! My son and husband stayed at the Ronald McDonald house when our daughter was in the hospital for a few days. We did donate before we left because they were so great.

Great post Taty. We don’t take for granted the fact that we are so blessed and we are together as a family. We always make it a point to give back and be of blessing to other families that needs help. Being together as a family is priceless and meaningful. Happy holidays my friend.

Traditionally November and December mark the season of giving, and it’s the time of year that seems to see the most charitable donations. But it’s important to keep in mind that all non-profit organizations like the Ronald McDonald House need the public’s help all year long! Thank you so much for shining a light on this beautiful organization and the importance of being with family.

You are right, there is nothing better than being together for the holidays. This is such a great cause because those kids are already going through enough with being in the hospital. I am sure having their loved ones there makes a great difference.
