Recently, Capitol Lighting celebrated its 88th birthday with a roaring 20s party, which was very fitting since they first opened their doors in 1924.
Most of the customers, staff and guests showed up dressed up in glamorous outfits from the 1920s. The folks at Capitol Lighting set up a professional looking photo studio that resembled the times and allowed for everyone to have their picture taken and walk away with an antique looking portrait.
Those who were not dressed up did not miss out since scarfs, hats and accessories were provided. They thought of everything!
I had fun participating in a passport style adventure around the store. I visited a few of their vendors such as Schonbek, Maxim, Legrand, Quotzel, and Kichler .
My passport was stamped at every stop. Great opportunity to meet their vendors and learn about their high quality products while interacting with them on a one on one basis.
The bash could not end without a guest appearance, Vanilla Ice. Yes ladies, a blast from my musical past, Vanilla Ice was in the house!
For those of you who have never been to any of their stores, they offer a wide range of lighting fixtures not only for indoors, but also for outdoors, including landscaping.
Many of their items are affordable, tasteful and will give a touch of class to your home.
I invite all cool moms to make a trip to their stores, you will walk away with great ideas that will make your home look elegant and sophisticated without breaking the bank. Actually we have a coupon to share with you. Here it is:
It was not only a great birthday party, but also very informative and enlightening! Cheers to another 88! Looking forward to celebrating the 89th birthday bash!
