BRAVE, in theaters June 22, 2012. The film is a fun adventure film from the beloved Pixar/Disney Studios. It follow’s Pixar’s first female heroine, Princess Merida. Set in beautiful highlands of Scotland, independent Merida defies age-old custom in an effort to lead her own life. In her rebellion, she turns to an old Witch who grants her one wish, which inadvertently brings chaos to the kingdom.
Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In “Brave,” a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.
Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson).Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentricold Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

My bravest moment would be learning how to swim in high school because I’ve never learned as a child since we never really went swim that much, probably only 2 or 3 times. It was hard learning because mostly all other students already knew and I was one of the few but was able to learn.

Creo que mi momento de mayor valentia fue cuando me mude a New York solita, pero sobrevivi :-)Esta peli esta genial para mi sobrina. Ahora mismo le paso el link. Thanks for sharing!
Mi momento mas valiente fue dejar mi pais, mi trabajo, mis amigos y mi familia, por irme a conocer el mundo, jeje.
The time I was brave was when I was learning how to ride my bike I was really stubborn because I didn’t want to fall and scrap myself I felt scared. I would see all my friends doing tricks with their bike that I went home grabbed my bike and pedal like I had never pedal before I didn’t care if I fell because I knew I would be able to get back up and try again. I over came my biggest fear and became brave to ride a bike

My bravest moment was in elementary school, when I said something I should not have said in the playground, and later when confronted by the teacher, admitting to it and accepting my punishment. It was then that I realized that the punishments for doing something wrong, though painful, would not hurt as much as denying and living with the remorse.
My bravest moment was when I rode a roller coaster for the very first time. It was during my Senior Grad Bash weekend and my best friends tried very hard to convince me to ride them. I have always been very scared but with the help of my friends, I overcame my fear of roller coasters 🙂

When my now-12-year-old daughter was about 5, she was running down the hallway and tripped over her toddler sister’s baby walker. She fell and broke her elbow. An hour or so later, we were sitting in an ER room, waiting for the doctor. She was a real trooper, barely cried or complained (and this was a fracture that ended up requiring surgery). Not that I needed to be told, but the nurses even kept coming in to say how brave she was, since there were lots of other patients that night with far less serious injuries who were moaning or whining and acting like it was the end of the world.
Thanks for letting me share about my daughter! 🙂

i’m deathly afraid of heights and about two years ago i decided my make or break moment would be to skydive and help conquer my fear..well it accomplished both, in that i did defeat my fear and enjoyed the adrenaline rushed event, but also broke my ankle in the process due to a poor landing. even with that tho, i look forward to jumping again this fall.

I am looking forward to this movie and being able to share it with my son. I think my son’s bravest moment was when he managed to put his fear of heights aside and ride on an amusment park ride that he was so very scared to ride. He took my hand and bravely walked to the line. He was so happy he did too because now it is one of his favorite rides.

My daughter Ovilees bravest moment was not giving in to peer pressure at school and did not agree with a group of mean girls. They had a party and the result was she was the only girl in the entire class that was not invited to it, but she was fine because she did not want to be the rich little girls puppet for the rest of the school year. She now has true friends
