This is a bilingual post that celebrates mothers everywhere!!

The coolest job in the world is also the toughest, and despite all of our love for mom, we truly get to understand her and deeply admire what she has done for us when in turn we become mothers.

Estamos celebrando a las madres con Walgreens y en todos los idiomas!  Sabemos que ser mamas es el trabajo más hermoso y mas duro de todos.  A pesar de todo el amor que le tengamos a maman, realmente admiramos profundamente todo lo que ha hecho y continua hacienda por nosotros cuando nos convertimos en madres.
Esta vez, vamos a sorprender a mama, con una reunión de chicas para darle un manicure y consentir a esas manos maravillosas que con tanto amor ha hecho tanto por nosotros.
Estamos muy emocionadas de nuestra celebración!
Para comenzar, nos fuimos a Walgreens donde siempre encontramos todo para nuestras necesidades de belleza y cuidado personal.  Nos encanta ir a Walgreens por que no se trata solamente de nosotros, pues es muy fácil encontrarlo todo para también cuidar de otros como nuestras madres.  Además de esto, es maravilloso descubrir productos novedosos y diferentes en la tienda!  Realmente Walgreens es el vecino en el que más confiamos y en el que más nos apoyamos.
 This year, to celebrate mom we have agreed to surprise mom with a “girls only” brunch to give her a make over and spend time with the grandchildren.
We are way excited about this!
To get us started we headed over to Walgreens,where we always find all our personal and beauty care products.  Of course we always find more goodies along their aisles 🙂  You will agree that finding all your needs, plus the perfect items to pamper those you love and the little extras always available at Walgreens really makes it the go to neighbor that never fails us.
This make over focuses on mom’s caring and busy hands.  We are giving her a manicure.
The first thing that caught our eye when we arrived at the beauty section was finding OPI nail polish!  there were great shades to choose from.  Everything we thought of (or didn’t) for the manicure was readily available in a clear and organized fashion.
Nail clippers, files, fake nails, nail décor, creams, you name it, it was all there.  In the process we decided on Tweezerman tweezers to upkeep mom’s eyebrows.
Another thing we did want to do was preserve so many memories, so we ordered a mini photo album that tells the story of mom becoming a grandmother.  We can’t wait to see her face when she studies every single page of the album, this is getting very exciting for us.  Love to prepare get togethers.  Chocolate and a card are also checked off the list, and ready for our makeover session.

Lo primero que nos llamo la atención fue encontrar esmaltes para unas de OPI en Walgreens!  Tenían colores súper interesantes.  También tenían todo lo que habíamos planeado comprar y lo que no se nos ocurrió para este manicure en la tienda.  Nos encanto encontrarlo todo rápida y fácilmente en su mega sección perfectamente organizada.  Además de esmaltes, limas, algodón y quita esmalte, nos llevamos unas pinzas para cejas de Tweezerman para darle un retoque a las cejas de mami 😉

Otra cosa que quisimos hacer fue contar la historia de cómo mamá se convirtió en abuela!  No vemos la hora de verle la cara cuando este examinando con cuidado cada página del mini álbum de fotos que hicimos en Walgreens.
Como si fuera poco,  Walgreens tiene su propia celebración para madres.  Es la promoción Celebra la belleza, celebra a mama

    I grew up going to Walgreens a lot, but I was never much of a fan. Here in Canada, there is no Walgreens! Our equivalent is London Drugs and Shopper’s Drug Mart. Neat idea to do a bilingual post :)! Thanks for sharing :)!
