We love the holidays!!
As a Britax Latina Blogger/Advisory Board Member (and in partnership with Mami Innovative Media), this post is part of a sponsored outreach. All opinions are our own
This time the crowd was a little larger because I buckled in my munchkins into their Britax car seat and drove them with me to be part of our cookie celebration.
Once all the hugs and quick catch up are in order, we get down to business. After all there are a few generous batches of cookies to get baked and decorated.
It is a long night, but a great one too.
Most people tell us what a great thing we are doing preparing cookies to brighten less fortunate children’s holidays, but to be honest, it is a selfish act to reconnect with our dear ones and celebrate our friendships, love and the season. It is also a good lesson for the children to always make time to smell the roses and enjoy the company of those we hold dear. This allows for us to reflect a bit on the meaning of the holidays, all the while contributing in some way (big or small) to make it better for others, specially children.
Which is why as firm believers of the unsurpassed protection and quality Britax offers, we tell our loved ones to put this brand on their Santa list for car seats, strollers, travel systems or baby carriers.
If you are on the nice list, you will be very happy to see this brand under your Christmas tree.:-)
#HolidaysConBritax rocks, Children first! Is always our conclusion because the Peace of mind knowing our kids are protected is indeed priceless. It enables us to focus on other matters like delivering those big smiles to kids eagerly waiting for their Christmas cookies :-).
Before you go, tell us what are your favorite holiday traditions?

I really love Christmas! One of our favorite traditions is turn off the lights and enjoy the Christmas tree lights. We also bake some cookies.
My traditions is to help the local food bank preparing pantry boxes to giveaway for the holidays this year we did over 16 pallets in on day!
What a nice tradition and way to spend some quality girl time. It’s probably too late now, but I would love to try to organize something like this with a few of my close friends!!
What a wonderful way to brighten a less fortunate childs Christmas. I never thought about some of these kids not getting Christmas cookies. How sad.
I watched a movie last night where Santa’s elves were paid in cookies… I know that has nothing to do with your post, it just reminded me of that movie.
My favorite holiday tradition is when the family gets together.. I’ll be missing that this year, so I’ll settle for the 2nd favorite Christmas Eve tradition and its watching The Christmas Story over and over again from 7pm till 7pm on Christmas Day!
Que ricas y lindas galletas! Muchas gracias por las ideas! No hay nada más bonito que la Navidad.
¡FELIZ DÍA!ॐ

The last few years found me moping and worried when the holidays rolled around. I am happy to read about you giving back and cannot wait to start some traditions of my own.
I love that you all get together and work to help others! That is the true meaning of the holiday season!
I also love doing the cutout cookies and decorating them. My kids adore their Christmas stockings as well!
Yummy. What a creative idea. I know many children who would be happy to help out.
What a great way to celebrate the holidays and do something nice for others.
My favorite holiday tradition is preparing traditional cultural meals that have been passed down from generation to generation with my kids and their grandparents.
What a great thing you are doing and if it accomplishes re-connecting your family and having fun while helping others – it is a really great thing!
What a lovely idea – I would love to do something like this with my friend and family and what a nice way to catch up on the year as well x
What a great tradition. Our big family tradition is a trip to a tree farm to pick out our live Christmas tree.
That is such a lovely tradition! We adopt a child off the angel tree every year, then reflect on the experience on Christmas morning. It tends to put things into perspective for my kids.
What a great thing to do during the holidays! I love that it’s a girls night in as well π
My daughter is going over to my moms to bake cookies tomorrow!
We love our Christmas cookie traditions! We each have our favorites that we make every year, but also try to branch out once in awhile.
We do the cookie tradition and the storybook tradition as many have.

Those cookies look DELISH!
The cookies look delish! My favorite holiday tradition is a nice Christmas Eve dinner with the fam…and then hanging out in our PJs all day on Christmas!
We have many christmas traditions. One is to open a present early on Christmas eve.
My daughter loves to bake cookies. Me not so much. She’s always in the kitchen baking up a storm. I’ll have to start doing it more often though since she’s leaving for college next year and I’ll be alone with the kids who enjoys her cookies. π
Baking cookies is so much fun! My daughter loves to help bake all the time, especially with the decorating!
What a great tradition to pass down to your kids!
Such a sweet tradition. My girls and I have had some very fun baking days. My girls love to bake with their aunt and grandmother. They have learned some great recipes and I am sure they will pass it on to their kids one day.
What a great idea! Holiday baking is such a family time.
What a wonderful service project! I need to incorporate more service traditions into our holidays!
Wonderful idea!
I love your idea of getting together with your closest friends to catch up, plus do a wonderful baking project to brighten the lives of less fortunate children. My family recently donated a box of gently used clothes, a comforter, towels, toiletries, and dishes to a local nonprofit that serves one of the poorest communities in San Joaquin Valley. Awesome blog post! π
I love these cookies! They also make me hungry!
My favorite Holiday tradition has to be our chain countdown til Christmas! Each day says something different to do holiday related! The kids LOVE it!
