Dusty Soars above our Parks in Fire & Rescue – New Disney Animated Film

We were invited to the advance screening for the new Disney movie Fire & Rescue, and we were on a countdown to today July 18th, when the movie is in theaters, so we could watch it again!
As big fans of the Cars / Plane franchise we had been waiting for this movie eagerly.  So much was the anticipation and wait at our household that the little ones have put together a few pitch ideas for Disney on movies to create for us 🙂

Here is the synopsis of the movie
“Planes: Fire & Rescue” is a new comedy-adventure about second chances, featuring a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire. When world-famous air racer Dusty (voice of Dane Cook) learns that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, he must shift gears and is launched into the world of aerial firefighting. Dusty joins forces with veteran fire-and-rescue helicopter Blade Ranger (voice of Ed Harris) and his courageous team, including spirited air tanker Dipper (voice of Julie Bowen), heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter (voice of Wes Studi), ex-military transport Cabbie (voice of Captain Dale Dye) and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero. Directed by Bobs Gannaway (“Secret of the Wings”) and produced by Ferrell Barron (“The Fox and the Hound 2”), 


For us Dusty soars again with a great story courage to accept and make the best out of the changes we face in life.  Noble themes of helping others and self-sacrifice are more than evident in the film.  A a great value lesson for the children moment for parents.  We won’t tell anymore about the movie so you can discover for yourself in a theater near you.  Take the kids, the entire family will enjoy this beautifully made animation film.

    I wonder if I could convince my 7 year old to see this movie I mean we practically live in the forest ok I live in a two bedroom apartment surrounded by trees but same thing right ?

    We saw that this was in the theaters today while at the mall I can not wait until it comes out on DVD. My youngest is terrified of theaters so we never get to do the movie experience – saves us lots of money though so no complaints.

    I love movies like this that are fun for kids but pass on a gret lesson and educational info. I would like to see this movie even though I don’t have little ones anymore.

    Hubby took the boys and Madison yesterday to see this and they said it was actually pretty good. I will be getting this on DVD when it comes out so they can watch it again.
