We are getting ready to share a feast for the Thanksgiving celebration next week. I love playing with table-scapes and are working up on some ideas to finalize what our Thanksgiving table will look like. The perfect table setting sets the stage for family warmth and lots of good laughs around a turkey dinner. This is something I take my time to preparing because to me, a table -setting really underlines the holiday and the celebrations. After all the time someone has spent in the kitchen preparing the most delicious meal ever for us, the dishes we would be about to enjoy deserve a festive or beautiful table, don’t you agree? It will make it all unforgettable.
So far what I do know is that I will be using Hen House Linen to brighten my table with their bold and chic to dress up my table. I am decided to give thanks with festive designs. These go very well with classic or contemporary styles and allow you to create your very own look effortlessly. This would definitively make for some awesome hostess gift. It would also be a perfect find for the one in your life that loves having get-togethers or loves cooking. You might also want to consider it for whomever is big into Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s or Thanksgiving.
Last year we went with a very traditional look at the table. This year I am letting pumpkins take over. So I think I will be using the Hen House Linen cheerful orange prints everywhere. I will also make mix matching with some greens. What I really love about their products how much fun and easy it is to combine piece. I am totally fixated on my apron to match my table linen! Another perfect hostess piece to offer!
Let’s consider some of their products:
Greek Key Licorice paired with Fern Orange: Funky Fern echoes the vines of a pumpkin patch with a cheerful orange color, while the clean lines of Greek Key are stylish in classic black. Layer a Fern Orange runner over a Greek Key Licorice tablecloth, or serve up a platter of treats lined with napkins in both shades. Together, these prints have just the right look for a holiday table.
Latticework Aubergine and Garden Gate Graphite: Give your table a sophisticated take on the holiday with this classy duo. Play up the season with these patterns in a rich plum and gray. The simplicity of Latticework contrasts elegantly with the architectural design of Garden Gate. Together, they make the perfect backdrop for a stunning party that’s the ultimate treat.
Prints are available for any of these essentials: 60” Square Topper Tablecloth ($55), 70” Round
Tablecloth ($57), 70” x 90” Tablecloth ($70), 70” x 108” Tablecloth ($78), Dinner Napkin ($42,
set of 4), Runner ($22), Cocktail Napkins ($24, set of six), Place Mat ($42, set of 4)
My table dressing up will be matched with a centerpiece of branches where we will have everyone hang a word for what they are thankful for this year.
I am gearing up for Christmas Eve celebrations as well. Can’t wait to share with you what I have in store for that table setting!
What will be the highlight of your table this Thanksgiving?

Here in Trinidad we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. However, I do love seeing the posts about it. My family in the States are gearing up for the big day and I’m just a tad bit jealous that I can’t be with them. And yep, I do think a lovely table sets the tone of the evening. Enjoy your special day. 🙂
Oh wow, I love that runner. I really like the bold orange.

That orange makes me happy. I’d love to have most anything here in that pattern, but most definitely a tablecloth!
