When my baby outgrew his lunch box, I was happy to take over it. We had bought it together, and I am sentimental about it. My Batman lunchbox is a great conversation piece when I start a new job or when I go visit clients, and sit with them at their lunch room. I do stay most time at the lunch room because I #LoveLunchIn :-). Here is the story of how Campbell’s Soup brightens up my day in more than one way. It truly makes my lunch break great, but there is more to it, read on
You know morning routines can be crazy. Sometimes they are a bit crazier for me, specially when I have a million things going in my head. On one of my mind filled mornings I was out the door, taking the kids to school. We have a drop off line where teachers help kids off the cars with their bags, lunch boxes and projects. We were a tad late. So, once we got to our drop off spot, the teacher opened the door, got the kids off, and I handed her our pile of school stuff.
It was not until lunch time that I realized my lunch was missing. I started going over items in my head: did I not pack a lunch for little man, so he took my lunchbox? did I simply not prepare my lunch? I thought I did, but on this particular day I truly was not trusting myself. Oh well, I did not have much time to get my answer. I grabbed something else and just sat there dreaming of my restaurant style Campbell’s Slow Kettle soup.
When I picked up the kids at school, sure enough, little man had two lunch boxes. As I was inspecting what was left from lunch, in my lunchbox I found a note thanking me for a delicious lunch that was exactly the chef-like flavor she was craving. I felt good, my “too busy to pay close attention” brain had handed over my tomato basil soup to brighten up someone’s day! She loved the soup, and I was happy to have done something good for her, even if unintentionally.
Next time I was in school for the Christmas celebrations, I spied a couple soups in her closet. I couldn’t resist and I confessed to her. After we had our laughs about it, she shared how much she appreciated that the Campbell’s Slow Kettle Soups are made with no preservatives.
We both agree on the fabulous flavor and how we love knowing we are eating real food when enjoying these soups. Like me, she found the soups at Walmart, and plans to keep stocking them at home and at work. We also exchanged notes on how amazing it is when we are able to heat the soup on the stove top!
Without trying I gave some TLC to my little man’s teacher. I also introduced her to easy, quick and very satisfying lunch. I say it was a win-win “loosing my mind” moment.
Now tell me has anyone mistakenly enjoyed your lunch?
