A little imagination and a strong drive is all we need to work on our dreams. I shared with you tips on how to make our dreams a reality. Today I introduce you to the most adorable entrepreneur I know. Sebastian, the head designer at Are You Kidding Inc: inspiration to get up and chase dreams.
Like every 7 year old, Sebastian goes to school, has extracurricular activities and is fun and carefree. Besides this, he loves socks. Correction, he is crazy obsessed about socks! Before we knew it, he was drawing up different ideas on what he would love his socks to look like. With help of his older brother, mom and dad, this small business person has begun launched his own line Are You Kidding, socks by Sebastian
“My name is Sebastian, I am 6 years old and I looooooove
socks. Every time I went out with my mom I asked her to
buy me all the cool socks. I kept adding them to my
collection. Since my mom saw that I loved socks, one day
she asked me if I wanted to start drawing socks, and that
made me very happy. We sat down and started drawing
cool and fun socks that would look awesome on my feet. I
worked very hard with my mom to make the perfect socks.
She found some people that made my socks real and that
made the Are You Kidding? Socks by Sebastian Sock Line.
Now I can share them with all my friends and all the kids
that also want to share my style for having awesome socks. “
When we got our socks we were all smiles. It was funny to feel such joy out of a pack of socks. I guess Sebastian has it all figured out when he gives his all as he works had on them 🙂
Immediately, I was taken by the vibrant colors and fabulous matching. I had seen them on their website, but I always like waiting to see the real product to make a final judgement. This time, there was no kidding around because the colors on the site matched perfectly to that on the actual product. Happy Mom and buyer here for sure. The kids of course were just all over the designs themselves. Snakes, sharks, googley eyes, flowers and bumble bees can all be found in these adorable design. “Cool” is the very word we all use over and over to describe our Are You Kidding socks by Sebastian.
I was concerned that with so much wear and tear the socks would not last more than a couple of weeks at the mercy of my kids’ feet that are always running around the backyard, the sidewalk, all over our home and just about anywhere. They love playing in their socks and forget most times to use their shoes. It is the story about the grinding to death a pair of socks at our house. But not these. After the rough life Are You Kidding socks are having on our kid’s feet, they have survived and held their quality extremely well. After more than 3 months of use, I am happy to report no holes, no loose threads, no lazy elastics and no fading of the gorgeous designs and colors. What we have is perfect socks for happy feet around here!
If you are wondering about this little CEO, I can assure you he is very serious about his socks. Not only has he enlisted his brother (and mom and dad and me) but also he has gone all the way to showcase his designs and business model to The Kid’s Edition of the Shark Tank!
I can’t wait to see more designs, and more off Are You Kidding Socks by Sebastian. Straight out of the creative mind of a stylish kid, we now can enjoy cute and very cool socks for boys and girls that are fun and comfortable to wear. From his head to your toes, let your feet tell a story! Go get your favorite pairs at their site.
