Iguana Family on a Tree- How Many Can You Spot?

We had shared with you an image from one of our weekend afternoon strolls in South Florida.  We spotted a large family of Iguanas sunbathing and lazing around on their favorite Bouganvillea tree.  Our brain teaser was having you tell us how many Iguanas Do You Can You Spot in the photo:

How many did you spot today?  If you had visited our original post, we wonder if that number changed at all.

Some of the Iguanas were big fat and easy to spot, while others were the perfect shade of green that made it difficult to see them right away.

On second look, the shadows in the image we shared did not make it the easiest to spot the little greener one, so we are not counting those towards the grant total of 12 Iguanas on the tree!  Nevertheless, we know some of you are curious or competitive enough want to know about the little green ones, so we are marking them with the blue boxes for you.

12 Iguanas, you ask?  Still can’t see them?  Well without further due, here they are:

It was hard to see, and yes we agree with many of your comments on this from our original post:

Liz M I’m starting to see double the more I look at that. I’m wondering how many there are now!
Sarah-Louise B: I have no idea how many there are it took me a while to spot them I have to admit :) x
Chrissy:  I can’t! It’s like an optical illusion or something lol

The one that got closest to the red circle count was Annie M from AnnieMayzing.  Good eyes girl!

We are glad you liked this exercise.  Thanks for playing with us!  We will be on the look out for another photo that we can use to tease your brain some more.  Keep you posted!

Now that you have the answer sheet, who will you pose the question too?

I would have been running after seeing the first one probably! I’ve never seen an Iguana up close and personal like this. Okay maybe I wouldn’t have run with just one but 12 I would have been flying away from there!

I could not imagine walking up on this. I’d be too nervous to snap a pic if I didn’t have a zoom lens.

I spotted 8. I guess if I zoomed in a little I may have seen an additional one or two, but some of those were quite hidden!
