This sponsored post aims at helping us all be cool, chill, zen and desstressed!
Are you the juggler or the lady balancing it all on the tightrope I think I am a bit of both. And while I am balancing and juggling life happens with its curve balls. When I get a bit overwhelmed I try my Tips To Be Cool Chill and Zen .
I am happy to share my tips because we all deal with stress. I think the ideal situation is one where we can deal with it in a positive way to be able to enjoy life to the fullest. So here are my tips to handling stress:
Tip1: I believe laughter is the best medicine. It does wonders to cure or reliveve my stress. So, when in need, I call my good friend who has an amazing repertoire of jokes. If I can’t reach her, a quick internet search does the trick, and gets me quickly back on track with an energized mind and a big smile on my face.
Tip2: Rely on others or ask for help. Sharing tasks or at the very least having company in tough situations makes it all better. Like the time I got to the airport a day late inadvertently and with no passport. We were not getting any help at the counter until my 5 year old tugged on the attendant pants and said with big begging cat eyes:” sir my mom is trying really hard, can you please help her?” He melted all of us away, and got us the help we needed!
Tip3: Identify your happy places and escape to them even if for just 5 minutes to recharge and rebalance. You can even try the mental route for this. I prefer my quiet place on the beach or a couple of minutes on my hammock.
Tip4: Exercise is another powerful way to leave stress behind on the asphalt or the treadmill. I discovered this after a late meeting that went really bad with clients. I decided to head to the gym after it. Once I started my exercise routine, my bad meeting was quickly a thing of the past. I actually got a clear mind, and was coming up with great solutions to the problem at hand.
Tip5: Take natural RESCUE. The most discreet, fastest and delicious wy to deal with stress is simply popping Rescue Pastilles. Wherever stress finds you, you will be ready with Rescue! Clueless because the tickets read the names of airports and not cities I arrived at the wrong city courtesy of a minor error by the travel agency. Since I didn’t speak the language I waited for my pick up that never arrived. After a couple of hours and no way to talk to my waiting party, I started to feel the stress levels increasing. So, I took a brisk walk around the airport, got a chuckle from the comics section of the local newspaper, and bought myself a train ride to the correct city. It was an unforgettable train ride through a snowy idyllic landscape. Deer and rabbits came out to greet the passing train. I enjoyed every minute of it and went from less a less than ideal situation to picture perfect moments forever in my mind. Watching out the window, and smelling the roses should be my Tip 6!

I think this is a good reminder to all to stress less and enjoy life! Great tips on how to chill!
Exercise is one of the biggest behaviors that relieve stress. When I work out regularly, I have much less anxiety and stress.
The hashtag made me smile 🙂
Stress is inevitable and it’s part of our daily lives. What makes stress not-so-much of a killer is how we deal with it. I agree with all your tips, especially knowing where your happy places are. It doesn’t have to be in another country or city, but there should be at least one place that will make you feel relaxed and forget about the stuff in your head. I do have to find out where I can get Rescue Pastilles.
I love those stress balls, hubby has a few of those. Exercise is one way of relieving stress, that’s what I do.
I really need to de-stress and be more zen in my daily life. I think the tip of identifying your favourite places and visiting them as often as you can just to chill out is great.
Laughter can really be a stress buster and it also keeps us young. Exercise can be a great source of endorphins and can keep us healthy.
What a wonderful post! I really enjoyed reading your story on how you overcome your stress when you got to the wrong city. I loved the positive attitude!
My mental happy place is a meadow full of flowers with one big tree at the top of the hill. I usually picture myself laying down in the shade and just inhale the sweet air. So peaceful.
These are great ways to relieve stress! Laughter is one of my favorite ways and walking is always helpful too.
i’ve been seeing these rescue pastilles everywhere! i usually like to take a nap .. and that does the trick for me! i haven’t been lately, but i do notice when i am working out regularly that i have more energy and i’m less stressed.
Great tips! Stress can really zap your energy. It’s great to find ways to release the stress and make your life more enjoyable.
I really have to learn to handle my stress better! Exercise always works for me, but lately I haven’t made time! Thanks for the reminder!

Great tips! laughter definitely is the best medicine. Wherever I’m stress I listen to music or go out for a walk. Fresh air really helps me <3
Great tips. My best tip is that sometimes it’s okay to just walk away. For 5 minutes, an hour, never go back. Time and distance can make a gigantic difference.
I totally agree with the exercise part! Exercising really helps me to focus and let go of everything else! Thanks for posting!
I definitely exercise and a nice beach is in my future. So important to alleviate stress because it does take a toll on your health!
