You know that living in South Florida we grill non-stop. Nevertheless, in summer we do grill a lot more. I told you all about our new grill, and how excited I was to make my grilled pizza here. Since that turned out finger licking good, I decided on another type of grilled pizza: dessert! I am thrilled to share my Grilled Dessert Pizzettes and Calzone Recipe. So delicious and perfect for grilling time.
Pizette Recipe
Like everything at Cool Moms Cool Tips, the recipe is easy and quick to make. After a quick trip to Walmart I was set with all the ingredients I was using this time around for my creation. There is some extra Latin flare in there with the guayaba or guava. But I am getting ahead of myself. Let me allow you to discover it all. Here are the details for you:

Tip: in my mind I envisioned the recipe done with a Balsamic drizzle, but I didn’t have the time to do a reduction, so instead I used the Balsamic Vinaigrette. Just a tad does the trick and gives the recipe and amazing twist. Don’t discount it! But, I can understand if you are still a bit weary about it, so just have it on the side like we did with the Cool Whip.
Calzone Dessert Twist
Feeling inspired, I went a step further and converted some of my pizzette rounds into sweet calzone! All I did was take the same recipe and fold the pizzette in half. I did omit the Balsamic Vinaigrette.
Tip: Please let the pizzettes and calzones cool off before you enjoy them. The hot cheese and hot guava paste combination can be a bit much if you are not careful.
I told you it would be quick and easy. Now for the important part: is it good? Well, I worked on the dessert before my hubby took over the grill for the burgers. I have to share that the smell of pastry mixed in with the sweetness of the guava paste and the blueberries was intoxicating. None of us could wait for the meal to be served. We all jumped into dessert. I didn’t blink twice at this since every time I can, I will do dessert before the meal, but I find I am generally the exception to this rule. By the time the burgers were served, we were scrapping at was left of the Cool Whip
