The holidays always means for us that we will be hosting and working on DIY to make our home inviting for our guests. We are always looking forward to sharing with friends and family and host plenty of parties filled with tradition and joy!  This year it gets even better with out of town guests and a bigger merrier crowd!  This is why I am starting right away to prepare myself with some more time than usual.  #HolidaysConFamilia #CollectiveBias

First stop will be Thanksgiving.  This fall I am focusing in our bilingual lifestyle.  We already do all the Spanglish so why not take it to the home decor as well?  I decided on a piece that would work as both a decoration item or a centerpiece.  Here is my step by step on making Bilingual DIY Fall Decor Bottles

Materials:

  • 3 empty wine bottles
  • spray paint – go for fall colores 🙂
  • vinyl letters
  • flowersmaterials-DIY-painted -bottles-bilingual-thanksgiving-decor-cool-moms-cool-tips #ad #holidaysconfamilia

Procedure:

  1. Clean your empty wine bottles and spray paint them.  Let them dry thoroughly before you continue
  2. Once dry, stick the vinyl letter to the bottles.  Ours are bilingual, so we will stick on “give thanks” and “dá gracias”
  3. Adorn with your flowers preparing-home-for-holidays-and-guests-cool-moms-cool-tips #ad #holidaysconfamilia

That is it!  You are done are ready to go!

I think this bilingual or Spanglish Bilingual DIY Fall Decor Bottles will be the perfect complement to our Thanksgiving of Turkey side by side a good Cuban Lechón and black bean rice or moros.

Que linda idea, a mi me encanta reciclar y este proyecto es perfecto para aprovechar las botellas. Me gusta mucho la idea de que el mensaje es bilingue, y esos colores me fascinan. Gracias
