Be The Stress-Free Perfect Host

I can’t believe the holidays are already in full swing!  Yes, as always I am not ready and with millions of things that I do want to do to mark the festivities.  Because time is limited I have settled for hosting a sit down appetizer buffet for a merry girls night in.  It is the first of its type I will ever be putting together so I have decided to have a trial run for it.   Here is my game plan to Be The Stress-Free Perfect Host With BJ’s! 

Cool, filled with zen, I am happy and excited about our little get-together.  Why so calm and collected?  Simple:  I know I will get everything I need for this perfect night at our favorite club, BJ’s Wholesale Club, that is!  Every time we can we tell you how much we love and go to BJ’s.  Year round they cater to our every need and the holidays is no exception.  Better than that is knowing that I do save plenty every time I visit BJ’s.  I can stretch my money without having to sacrifice quality or quantity.

Take for example my little party planning. Drinks, h’ordeuvres, food, and dessert are a no brainer at BJ’s.  I love how there is always a unique items to add to any event or everyday affair, like great Brie cheese or specialty hams.  If you need drinks, everything from sodas, to imported wines, and liquor is available to you, just as are paper plates, napkins and a great camera to snap unforgettable moments of your party.  But I digress.  Back to my party planning.  I got my appetizers; cashews, olives, cheeses, cold cuts, pop corn, hummus, crackers and chips rounded up in less than 5 minutes.  I also ordered a platter at the deli, and drinks were another easy check off the list.  I stalled a bit on dessert because I was not sure if I should get one of the beautiful holiday cakes on display, a cheesecake sampler, or some chocolate covered pretzels.  In the end it all came with me to make all the sweet tooth guest more than happy 🙂

Not the real fun begun for me.  Set up and decor make all the difference in the world for any occasion.  Lucky for me, the Christmas decorations I needed were, like always, available at BJs.  If you need outdoor lights, the selection is big just as the ornaments are.  I fell in love with this Stacking Snowmen with LED lights .  For table setting and spread presentation there are just so many options available at BJ’s!  This  5 piece buffet server will come in so handy for every party out there, don’t you think?  In the end I went home with:

As soon as I got home, my decor trial run begun in earnest!  I was so excited about how the tablescape came out!

So you see, quickly and easily I was able to put together a little soiree for my girlfriends with style and full of yumminess thanks to BJ’s.  Had I opted for a sit down dinner it would have been just as easy picking up any of the ready to go dishes available or getting all the ingredients for a rack of lamb menu or a Seafood delight dish.  Not only did I get everything covered, I even got to help Santa with a couple of toys and dropped a hint to Sr. Cool about these gorgeous Crystal Bead Love Knot Stud Earrings.
