Sobremesa is a Latin tradition that consists of spending time at the dining table over a cup of coffee right after the meal has ended. Luckily, the sobremesa does not need a table for the feeling and bonding to be achieved, and it does not need a special occasion for it to happen.
Tips for a Cool and Easy Mommy Break
The sobremesa is a great little escapade that allows for some shared “me time”. I say “me time” because it is when we can sit together with friends and family for some conversations that make our bonds stronger. Usually, we laugh, share and relax which is just what I need to get the rest of my day going strong with a face and on a positive state of mind that make me a cool and chill mom 🙂 Sobremesa is another way of saying it is time for a deserved mommy break!
Tip 1: Take your sobremesa to your favorite spot. We take our sobremesa to our patio. I usually claim the hammock and lazily relax in it as we converse and sip coffee
Tip 2: Give everyone a delicious cup of NESCAFÉ Clásico to get the fun and talkative mode going in a relaxed mode. It never fails!
