The Dominican Republic Has It All At Royalton All-Inclusive Resort

I discovered an amazing country that really has it all!  I am talking about the Dominican Republic, a destination to have in your bucket list and do it over and over again!!! Our stay at the Royalton Punta Cana has a big hand in our eagerness to go back this summer and visit them again. It was truly amazing!!

The Dominican Republic Has It All 

It was easy to fall in love with the charm of its people who smile generously all the time, as well as the beauty of the landscape.  I visited Punta Cana and from the looks of it, I have just scratched the surface of discovery.  I can’t stop raving about the country and what I saw.  The beach, the lush green, the food, the local products like coffee and chocolate, the fuits, the flowers, basically everything is at your reach in the Dominican Republic. But, since my goal is cool, chill and total relax, I want to tell you all about a resort called Royalton in Punta Cana.

Royalton All-Inclusive Resort

The Royalton is more than just a resort, it is your own private piece of paradise.  With less than five years in operation, you are getting a brand new hotel with plenty of options for you to choose from.  Keep in mind: Memories Splash – the more accessible of the three, Royalton -filled with upgraded amenities for the entire family, and Chic – the adults-only paradise destination.  Those three are the basic options you have to start planning your vacation.  From the open-arms welcome you receive upon arrival, you know you are in for a great time at the Royalton Punta Cana.  So, grab the welcome coconut or pineapple drink, breathe in and ahhhhhhh get ready for fun the way you want it!

The rooms

Absolutely comfortable and spacious, the hotel rooms in all three properties give you the convenience and roominess you deserve while on vacation.  Detailed with a sitting area, free in room wi-fi, stocked up mini fridges, coffee makers, balconies or terraces it is tempting to lounge lazily in your room with everything you need and more at the tip of your fingers.  

Every bed has a pillow-top mattress and the option for you to upgrade to the “Diamond Club” which gives you access to your very own butler, an exclusive more private beach and special lounge.  Yes, please!  I want it all!

At Royalton Punta Cana you can also request that your room have its very own private pool!  Can you just imagine waking up, opening your curtain to a beautiful beach view, and then opening your sliding door to take a morning dip in your private pool as you take in the sunrise?  Ah-mazing!!

Dinning

Remember this is an all-inclusive resort, so there is no limit on your consumption.  As if that was not enough, you have 10 restaurants to let your foodie spirit let loose! This impressive list of restaurants includes a high-end steak house, plus Japanese, Mexican, Italian and Mediterranean affair as well as Spanish Tapas.  Not too shabby at all!  You can also stop for a coffee, sweets or ice cream at the cozy coffee house, and quench your thirst at the many bars on property.  Believe me, there is a bar or two by every pool.  24 hour room service is available to you.  At breakfast time, I was addicted to eating the typical Dominican dish called Mangu which is mashed boiled green plantains with onions and some salt.  Yummm, sooooo goood!

If you happen to be on the beach, many waiters and waitresses are on hand to bring you food and drink.  Don’t forget to order coconut water.  It will come to you chilled in the coconut with a straw!

Water Fun

Looking for a water park?  You will find one ONLY at the Royalton resort in all of Punta Cana!  This fun water park is open sunrise to sunset and has over 10 water rides.  One of them which I had never seen before anywhere else, and it loads of fun!  Take a look

The water park has at least 5 lifeguards on duty at any given time, and plenty of personnel keeping and eye out for everyone’s safety. 

Babies can splash in a shallow pool, everyone can give surfing a try on the wave pool, you can take a plunge, try the rapid loops or sunbathe to your heart’s content at this very fun water park.

The water fun is not restricted to the water park.  The resort has a main free-form pool with a swim-up bar, an adults-only pool, and a kids pool. Plus an exclusive pool for Diamond Club guests.  Personally, I love the lounging chairs right in the pool.

At the beach, you will also find plenty of water activities like kayaking and snorkeling.  Paddle boats are also available.  Don’t see what you want like diving?  Just ask the hotel, they will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Kid Specific

Families will find it difficult to get the kids not to be a part of the ample variety of activities it offers  for children of all ages.   The kids have: The Clubhouse Kids Club is for ages 4 to 12 and offers games, a playground and cartoons. A lounge for teens ages 13 to 17 has game system consoles, Wi-Fi areas, billiards and table tennis.  Plus there is karaoke nights for kids and organized activities throughout the day along with baby sitting services if parents want some quiet time alone.

Pampering

To further your Royalton experience further you can get lost in their luxurious Spa which offers the latest hydro-treatment techniques, amazing experienced hands for different massage types that will melt away stress, certified beauty technicians for your facial, make-up session or hair styling.  Mani- pedis are also readily available and “Diamond Club” members get additional discounts on services.

Interested in a beach massage?  yes, you can have that too!  Just ask the cabana boy to set you up.  The staff on premises are happy and eager to make all your wishes come true, and that includes laying in a private booth on the beach with a magnificent ocean view to relax you further.

Special Occasions

Family reunion? Baby-moon? Honeymoon?  Anything and everything is a good reason to celebrate at Royalton Punta Cana.  Honestly, with the way the entire staff is so willing to meet all requests I am sure your whims and desires for a perfect celebration will be beyond your imagination.  Just look at what a wonderful set up for a sunset wedding on the beach!!!!  Oh, and if you want  a secluded wedding area, the property has just the place for you as well.
