Of all the things that are not functional in my home, my toilet paper holder has been a nuisance. It simply won’t stay put on any of my bathroom walls regardless of what nails, screws, washers I use. Trust me, I have tried just about everything they have in the hardware store to try and solve the issue. I have also tried practically every model and style of toilet paper roll holders out there. What is a girl to do? DIY her own of course! Here is Easy To Make Beach Inspired Toilet Paper Holder.

Breezy and Chill
Lounge lazily around the beach, pick up a shell or two. Take it all in and rejoice in a simple project that you can have ready in no time. Yes, easy and quick are important crafting points to mark off the checklist around here. Ahhhhhhhh, you make the easy beach day last longer!
Easy To Make Beach Inspired Toilet Paper Holder
Not only is this DIY easy to make, it is also very inexpensive. Look, I found a door coat hanger at a garage sale. And, that really sparked the idea for the holder. Because I am always at the beach, well, the inspiration was not that hard to find as well as the shells to give the holder the breezy look. Here is how you can make your Beach Inspired Toilet Paper Holder:
Materials:
- Door coat or towel hanger.
- Shells
- Glue Gun
- Spray paint
Procedure:
- The coat hanger I found was a bit dull, so to make it match the shiny accessories in my bathroom, I spray painted the hanger with metallic silver paint.
- Once the paint was dry, I used the glue gun to adhere the shells to the top portion of the coat hanger. I was careful not glue the shells to the opposite side of there the toilet tank would be to ensure there would be enough room for everything to fit in the small space between the toilet and the wall.
- When the glue gun was hard and set, I removed the toilet tank lid, hung the newly made toilet paper roll, replaced the lid and added the Scott 1100 roll to the holder!
Quick, easy this toilet paper holder is perfect for me! I don’t have to drill more holes in my walls and so the holder stays put in its place! Not to mentions that it is a great space maker for tiny bathrooms.
A Toilet Paper Holder to Fit More
Another benefit of my new toilet paper holder is that I don’t have to worry if my bigger SCOTT® 1100 Bath Tissue roll will fit in its place. Yes, you can fit big rolls easily on this coat hanger turned into functional bathroom decor. Don’t you just love it?
