Disney’s The Jungle Book Backyard Movie Night
Yes, you know we love celebrating it all at Cool Moms Cool Tips. We can’t resist sharing one of our favorite movies with our new friends. The way that Jon Favreau brought to life Rudyard Kipling’s tales is simply amazing. And so, The Jungle Book recaptures our heart as it brings us into a beautiful story of growing, family, love and courage. We just had to make a night out of being able to enjoy the movie at home with friends and family.
Making sure all our wild things well nourished with bananas, monkey juice and other goodies was a good start. I tested everyone’s memory on the “red flower” while we tasted some strawberry cake and cupcakes.
Of course, we went over who was our favorite character or the movie. Baloo got plenty of fans as did Akela. We also enjoyed The Jungle Book inspired monkey photo booth before the movie started. It was a great way for the kids to burn some energy and simmer down a bit before we sat for the movie. I have to tell you big and small monkeys took plenty of turns at the photo booth. Even our King Louie had the time of his life monkeying around with the photo booth.
It was time for the big event: The Jungle Book Backyard viewing! The moment the film hit our screen, everyone was captivated and mesmerized by the film. The kids sat still in eager interest every second of it. Had it not been past some bedtimes when the movie was one, we would have had the encore viewing everyone was asking for. We have already set a new date to have another The Jungle Book movie night. In the meantime, I am watching it again to surprise everyone with some Kaa snake shakes or Baloo honey treats.
