The Miami Book Fair has plenty to offer for children. We told you already about the different activities and stations that will be available. Now, we share with you the scoop on the authors that will be there! “For this year’s children program, we’ve focused more on bringing more of the best children’s lit, emphasizing reading and discovering new authors. When a child sees an author present their books, it empowers them to write more, engages them in reading for pleasure and helps make a connection between themselves and the author, allowing them to imagine themselves capable of becoming a writer, or anything else for that matter,” said Nicole Swift, program manager, children/YA for 2016 Miami Book Fair.
