Exclusive Interview: Jesse Corti is LeFou in Beauty and the Beast

What a fabulous treat when you are asked to “be Our Guest” to interview Jesse Corti.  over lunch. The invitation fell nothing short of amazing   He was gracious, generous with his time, and very funny. It was unforgettable sharing time with the voice of LeFou from Beauty and the beast, a beautiful Disney animation classic.

The interview was full of laugh, storytelling and in no time Jesse Corti had us mesmerized with all things Beauty and the Beast. 

From the onset, he was grateful for the chance of working on a Disney project. Today he is beyond himself to be in the midst of reliving  Beauty and the Beast. 25 years later. 

One of the things that strikes him the most about beauty and the Beast is the writing which touches upon many topics. In particular, about a girl who is strong and shows that beauty needs to also run skin deep. 

Working this animated changed has marked his professional life do that despite his rich acting career on Broadway, TV and animation, he is mostly recognized as LeFou. He did share that he does enjoy theater the most because he is on edge when he does it. 

As far as LeFou is concerned he recognizes that no matter what gets thrown his way he is s happy guy and tries to make the best of it all. Nothing gets to him. 

Just as in Beauty and the Beast, family is very important to Jesse Corti. His kids grew up with the legacy of the story. “My Dad is Beauty and the Beast@ is what his kids would day to their friend. He was participated in career day showing a clip and explaining his work. He couldn’t be happier to have done that for both his kids. He ponders that if everything with his wife and family is good then everything else falls into place. Just like his kids, his favorite character is Belle. 

I love that because he is fully bilingual, Jessi Corti is also LeFou in the Spanish version of the movie.

About Beauty and The Beast DVD Anniversary Edition

Can you believe it has been 25 years since we first enjoyed the animated film Beauty and the Beast?  I am sure the Chip Teacup Cappuccinos are perfect to celebrate this milestone as we watch the movie with a new generation! I love that the strong and beautiful inside and out Belle will inspire little girls everywhere.  The movie has so many powerful lessons that you will be talking about it for a long time ?  We are so ready for the Beauty and the Beast 25^th Anniversary Edition, are you?
