Miami Has Something For Everyone. The first thing that comes to mind that is the wonderful warm temperatures year round. This means it is time to discover The Magic City Water Fun and then some. I am very happy to partner up with Mercedes-Benz to share a bit of my city, the cool & chill Miami always has in store for my family. Time to get out of the a/c and under some sunshine magic.
The Magic City Water Fun and Then Some
Water everywhere complements a lazy stroll around Coral Gables or an afternoon reading in a hammock. Either way, you are bound to get your vitamin D and zen in. The water calls our names.
The Magic City Water Fun
We definitively are water babies. Therefore, we flock to pool and seaside at every chance. We focus plenty on water fun. If it is not a sunrise boat ride, we take a bike ride in Mattheson Hammocks Park. The water is not far for a quick dip in the “kids pool” a natural salt water pool.
For a splash to refresh yourself in Miami, you have a pick between thousands of fabulous pools, iconic or secluded beaches. Next on our list is finding a pool. Sometime we pick the Grapevine Water Park.
Mid Afternoon is best for us at “El Farito” beach. Our favorite beach is at Crandon Park where you can also do a little lighthouse exploring, investigate critters on the nature trail while raccoons people watch.
A not so secret yet not very popular destination is an extraordinary public pool like no other that delivers hours of fun that include cave discovery and waterfall joy. In true Miamian style, after 4 is always best and never crowded.
Beyond the Water
Because there is so much more than water in our Miami life, here are a few gems to include when you visit.
The Deering Estate
A stop at The Deering Estate is a must. It is a gorgeous setting for weddings, romantic outings or a great place to walk the trails of wild Florida lush green.
Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden
There is no shortage of golf courses or of palm trees. At the Fairchild Botanical Garden you can learn all about the different plants, palm trees or orchids plus admire the permanent Chihully exhibit there.
See and Be Seen
Chic or lazy stroll, places where you will find a party place or an “observation”spot to take Miami in include of course South Beach
Wynwood where you can take in tons of graphic artists at the same time. Go through the doors and get the walls!
or one of the many malls around town like Merrick park where art is always part of the landscape

I sure do love the beaches. I am now long for a trip to Miami.
There’s a lot of water fun places out there. I think visiting El Farito” beach, the Wynwood for arts seeing, and the Fairchild tropical botanical garden for some plant lesson will be a good choice, for the first day. Hope I can visit Miami soon.
This is a great read and Miami is on my (extensive) wish list. i want to go so much! Great post x
Oh and this looks like an absolute blast for the kids!
Miami! Awesome! That is only a few hours from us so this is something we could do. We are making a list of Florida waterparks to tackle over the summer, will be adding to the list.
We lived in North Miami for about 3 years and I’m so upset that we didn’t take the opportunity to enjoy all of these things. We’d occasionally go to the beach and we had a pool at home, but I wish we had ventured out more. Maybe we can take a vacation trip and enjoy some of the things we didn’t to while living there.
What a beautiful place to visit with your family! Such a nice spot for them they will surely love it.
Miami is one of my most favorite places to visit. They’re always busy and there’s def. plenty to do! 🙂 Love your pics.
This is such a beautiful and fun place to visit with family! I’ll make sure to bring my family and friends there soon.
MIami is in my bucket list! I love the water, and it makes me think I must have been a mermaid in my past life. Haha. I may wait a few years to visit because I want to take my grandchildren with me. I want them to be old enough to enjoy the trip. Thanks for sharing these lovely photos and your list of suggested places to visit.
Absolutely, Miami does have a lot to offer to everyone. And what I wouldn’t give to be back there and enjoy some warm weather right about now.
