The newest region of this Walt Disney World park fits perfectly among the lions and giraffes because of its message of respect for all beings as well as conservation. Believe the hype. From the moment you walk into Pandora you become an explorer. Or you become mesmerized with a world like no other you have seen. Prepare to be immersed because you won’t even realize at what moment you became one with this new universe as you look around in wonder and begin your journey.
The Lay of the Land at Pandora
You have it all at Pandora. You have beautiful landscapes to take in, ruins to ponder on, food to savor, souvenirs to take home with you, attractions to ride, interactive elements to enjoy, and even a culture to learn. The biggest thing for me while discovering Pandora is how your senses are all highly awakened at once.
The forest and Valley of Mo’ara
Pandora breathes a peaceful tranquility that easily pulls you in as you observe the exotic flowers and plants that will certainly catch you eye. Here you can have your face painted with Na’vi designs that glow in the dark.
Cool mom tip: You will also have the opportunity to interact with different elements or help the propagation of nature, like when you rub a native plant – the Flaska Reclinata, and when you do it releases spores into the air.
There are two rides available. One of them is the exhilarating Flight of PassageFlight of Passage where you ride on the back of a banshee. The other one is a journey into the bioluminescent rainforest where you will find the amazing Na’vi Shaman of Songs the Na’vi River Journey.
if you are hungry can stop over at Satu’Li Canteen to indulge in the flavors and art of the Na’vi. The restaurant acts as a gallery of Na’vi artifacts. The menu offers dishes that bring the healthy bounty of the Na’vi forward. At Pongu Pongu you can wet your whistle with interesting flavors and presentations of both alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages.
Cool mom tip:food and drink items might come with small round beads called boba. There have liquid inside of them that offer more flavorful combinations to what you are eating.
Stop at Windtraders to take a pice of Pandora home. Toys, pins, science kits, art and collectibles are displayed for you.
