My friend April and I set off on a work road trip adventure. Orlando was marked with an “X” on the GPS as our destination. With our sunglasses in hand and our coffee drinks in their respective cup holders, we were ready! After we experienced super fun days on the road together, we made a list of Must- Haves for A Girlfriend Road Trip.
Must- Haves for A Girlfriend Road Trip
Get ready to get closer, laugh, share and have some either shopping or conversational therapy. Maybe even both 🙂 One thing is for sure, every mom needs a girlfriend road trip with these 4 must-haves:
- Lots of room: our trunk filled up pretty quickly despite being so roomy. We both needed a designated space for our purses which we found in the expandable side pocket of our Toyota Avalon doors. April’s hat got prime space in the center console.
- Efficient fuel consumption: because as we talked out heads off, laughed and shared tips, we never thought about gas. Lucky for us, it was only midway back home that we really needed gas. Talk about Toyota Avalon being fuel efficient!
- A Sun roof: just because! Before we drove back home, we picked up Elizabeth during our shopping excursion to Disney Springs. We just needed that sunroof to add more cool to our trip.
- A GPS to guide your adventure: we had no plans yet we did want to try out new foods and have some fun at the newly opened Pandora at Animal Kingdom. For Florida girls that always go to the most magical place on earth, the route can be confusing because Orlando is ever building their roads. Toyota Avalon took us everywhere in style and without any missed turns with its easy to use navigation system.
Personally, I love how quiet the Toyota Avalon is due to its hybrid engine. Of course, all the safety features keep us in check to go and come carefree. My favorite safety item? Two of them actually: the rear camera and the blind spot alert on the side mirror.

Gone are the days of girlfriend road trips for me, but I definitely agree, a lot of trunk space is a necessity for any road trip. I think the Toyota Avalon looks like a great car to take on a trip.

We love Toyotas! In fact, I’ve owned many different Toyotas and l love their quality, comfort and reliability. This sounds like a fun girls trip!
