No snow? No problem! The holidays in South Florida offer plenty of festive activities to enjoy! There is one in particular that has been around for 35 years. It brings together a holiday light extravaganza that pairs up nicely with fun, rides, food and much more. Make the most out of your first or 35th visit with these 8 Tips To Visit Santa’s Enchanted Forest Park Like a Pro.
A South Florida Holiday Tradition
Santa’s Enchanted Forest is the largest holiday park in the world! It is a carnival that offers fun for the entire family. The park definitively is all about nostalgia for those who grew up in the area with the park as the Winter Wonderland to enjoy! There are plenty of rides to keep all ages entertained & plenty of food to delight all taste buds!
Cool mom tip: a slow easy stroll along the lighted display path offers lots to enjoy like an inflatable playground, a miniature Christmas village, and several photo opportunities not to be missed. It makes for a less dramatic exit of the park 🙂
8 Tips To Visit Santa’s Enchanted Forest Like a Pro
How do you do visit the park like a seasoned local? With these 8 Tips To Visit Santa’s Enchanted Forest Park:
1. Get discounts on tickets:
No need to pay full price for park admission, when you can easily get special coupons to Santa’s Enchanted Forest at stores including Dollar General and Sedanos:

Cool mom tip: once in the park, most rides are included in the ticket prices, and all vendors take credit cards.
2. Want to avoid crowds:
The best thing to do if you want to avoid crowns is to visit on a weekday. Saturdays are definitively the busiest.
3. Visit with Santa:
An added bonus to a weekday visit is that Santa is waiting for you! Come chat with him, give him your wish list and snap a photo with him.
Cool mom tip: there is a mailbox for letters to Santa available in case you don’t get a chance to talk to the big man.
4. Come hungry and thirsty:
All kinds of food and snacks await you! Plus what is more perfect than pairing any and all foods to a Coke or Dasani Water?
5. Beat the crowds at the park:
Go directly to the back of the park and work your way to the entrance.
Cool mom tip: the park opens at 5pm and closes at midnight so pace yourself and enjoy your visit.
6. Get a souvenir:
Do get a memento to mark your visit. But don’t get just any souvenir. Get the most adorable one of them all! Stop by one of the 8 lemonade stands at the park, and buy two 20 oz Coca-Cola products to get a free Coca-Cola Polar Bear! Added benefit? This is a stuffed animal that will fit just about anywhere. You don’t have to drag it around as you play 🙂
7. Dress comfortably and be prepared to walk:
Surprisingly, there are not many sitting areas or benches in the park, and you will be on the move from ride to ride or from one food booth to another, so focus on comfort. Don’t forget to check the forecast in case you need a light jacket or an umbrella.
8. Shows, rides and beyond:
Yes, there are a good amount of shows going on through out the park. Check out the show schedules and plan on rides near those that interest you. Thrill seekers and mellow easy riders alike will have plenty of rides to get on. Want more? There are plenty of games to test your abilities throughout the park!
