Invites:

Send on-line invites, use a free invites app, or text a fun pool image with party details to your friends.  You will not find anything cheaper than that!

Easy food: 

When there is a pool party everyone reaches for hot dogs. Affordable and a crowd pleaser, you can’t go wrong with them. Better yet if you get them in pre-packaged bulk quantities, so you don’t have to use them all if you don’t need to.  But, if you have a fancy for something else think about a frozen pizza that you can throw on the grill alongside the hot dogs.   Side dishes are a great way to stretch your budget and offer a filling meal.  Can you say ready-made potato salad?  Oh, and don’t forget to grab one of those huge chip bags.  For a hot dog alternative try this Asturian sandwich recipe.

Drinks:

Get a lemonade powder mix and you practically have an endless supply to quench everyone’s’ thirst for a day!  You can also ask guests to bring their drink of choice.  Make sure you have plenty of ice and a place to make it easy for everyone to access.  Think self-serve, that way you don’t have to be running back and forth offering everyone something to drink.  A cooler front and center on the pool deck will do the trick.
