Wow. My Marvel’s AntMan And The Wasp experiences have been nothing short of phenomenal. I am so grateful and humbled. Antman and The Wasp has a special place in my Marvel fangirl heart. True, Captain America civil war interviews were the best ever. And the infinity red carpet experience was epic But being a part of a secret set visit, posed with the volume knob, picking the talent’s brain twice, watching the movie in the Disney lot and sharing it with my family has been basically of the magnitude of the powerful quantum realm. To celebrate we made AntMan and The Wasp Cupcake Toppers because AntMan and The Wasp is Total Marvel Quantum Coolness!
Antman and The Wasp Cupcake Toppers
So here is my humble tribute to the movie and to the kick-butt hero: The Wasp cupcake toppers
- champagne cork
- two pins with heads
- champagne top wire
- black paint
- yellow paper
- glue gun
- Paint the cork with black paint. leave an oval shape on the top front portion without painting, let dry
- Use the wire to shape The Wasp’s wings
- Cut out a retro Wasp accessory for the suit from the yellow paper using this template
- Glue the yellow cut out to the bottom part of the painted cork, under the unpainted oval
- Insert the pins to either side of the top part of the cork to simulate the helmet edges of The Wasp’s suit
- Affix the wing in the back with the glue gun
- Use a marker to draw eyes and mouth in the unpainted oval.
- Place over a cupcake, and done!
Of course, our cupcakes had orange frosting… a little nod to AntMan when he asks for orange slices in Captain America: Civil War.

Antman couldn’t be more relevant to us. Inclusion, equality, family topics, blended family examples, different father-daughter relationships and struggles, love, girl power, you name it this very entertaining action-packed movie has it.
More Than a Cupcake Topper
Honestly, I have one of these cupcake toppers next to my Marvel Funko collection. The kids have been playing with them endlessly. These are more than cupcake toppers. You can even include them in a themed party goodie bag!
