Umbrellas Ready! Time for Disney’s Live-Action Mary Poppins Returns
…..Just a spoon full of sugar, new songs, and Lin-Manuel Miranda along with a stellar cast take us to experience London for the musical sequel of Mary Poppins. As a mom you know I would love to have a perfect nanny. Well, scratch that, I would be happy with Mary Poppins’ magical skills to turn any ordinary task into an unforgettable, fantastic adventure. I am eager to see it all unfold in the most delightful way for us on the big screen on December 19th.

In addition to all the Mary Poppins excitement, we get to talk all things Christmas with our friends Disney | ABC Television because they will again be the TV destination for all must-see holiday programming with the annual 25 Days of Christmas! Get ready for a sneak peek at some of the holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family at ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior. 25 Days of Christmas will begin on December 1st leading up to Christmas Day. Get ready for some festive surprises!
A sampler of what we will be screening:
- holiday-themed episode of “Coop and Cami Ask the World,” entitled, “Would you Wrather Get a Moose Angry” premieres Friday December 7th on Disney channel.
- The Great Christmas Light Fight (Season 6 premieres Monday, November 26 on ABC at 8|7c with two new one-hour episodes
We will also be talking to talent for both so get your questions in for me in the comments below.
In addition, we will kick help kick off some good deed doing for the season. I love that this holiday season, Disney|ABC Television are teaming up with Disney store, ShopDisney.com and Toys for Tots. Fans and families can celebrate 25 Days of Christmas by dropping off a new, unwrapped toy at a U.S. Disney store or on shopDisney.com until December 15th and Disney store will contribute $5 per toy to Toys for Tots, up to $1 Million! Post a selfie with your toy on social media using the hashtag #25TonsOfToys. The perfect was to make our season even more special, don’t you agree?
