Disney invited me to an all expense trip to enjoy the Mary Poppins Returns Movie World Premiere. All opinions shared are 100% my own.

The rated PG movie will captivate your imagination and hearts from the first image. It definitely did mine, and I can watch it over and over again. You are going to be immersed in a beautiful adventure of hope that delivers an uplifting feeling in the most amazing way. Magical Music:
get ready for a magnificent set of lyrics and score that will have you singing happily for days on end!

The Talent:
You have already read our amazing interviews with Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda who light up the screen. But they are not alone. For starters, Meryl Streep gets us all playful and upside down while legendary Dick Van Dyke charms us with his smile as does his song and dance. The children the older Banks siblings, everyone comes together to bring to life in an epic way the Mary Poppins Returns vision of Director Rob Marshall. Yes, we have him to thank for it all. And what about Julie Andrews? While she declined to be a part of the sequel, her Mary Poppins lives on!

Costumes:
A Mary Poppins of sorts of her own, as Lin-Manuel Miranda described her, Sandy Powell shares her genius in the most supercalifragilistic outfits ever. Be on the lookout for them all, but especially for the hand-painted colorful ones. They are simply incredible.

Oh, the adventures await and will get everyone looking for their very own!

Not a remake but a remarkable sequel:
Mary Poppins Returns continues the story. You can definitively hear and see the echoes of the original, but this one stands alone in its own right.

The London Setting:
This film is a love letter to London and you appreciate it right from the start when the cameras take us on our journey. It is superb and the opening song will leave no doubt! Get ready to sing along.

Easter Eggs:
There are many. The easter eggs do give a nod to Disney’s Mary Poppins Classic. During our interview, the director shared that there is a table in the set that comes from the original. He also confirmed easter egg after easter egg. So be on the lookout!

Angela Lansbury appears as the Balloon Lady, a treasured character from the PL Travers books and Dick Van Dyke is Mr. Dawes, Jr., the retired chairman of the bank now run by Firth’s character.
