DIY Pokemon Pokeball Jar
For a while, Pokemon and Pikachu have been part of our family life. Now that the movie is on the big screen, it is time to throw a Detective Pikachu party featuring our DIY Pokemon Pokeball jars. They are so easy to do, you will have plenty done in no time. Plus, you can get the Poke-fans in your life help out! The wonderful thing of these jars is that you can use them to decorate your party or as a party favor. The very first one I did, I used to surprise my Pokemon fan just because, one day after school.
Materials:
- a clean and empty jar
- white candy pieces
- red candy pieces
- a strip of black cardboard
- a white cardboard circle
- a red candy p
- glue
Procedure:
- Fill half of the jar the white candy
- Add the red candy over the white and fill to the top of the jar.
- Glue the black strip to the middle of the jar as if it were a belt.
- Draw a black circle near the edge of the white cardboard circle.
- Over the black strip, front and center glue the white circle.
- Cover with the jar with its lid and you are done.
Cool mom tip: if you have more time, find a jar with a red lid or pant the lid red for a more colorful finish.
I told you it was easy! You could also do a Pikachu jar with a yellow filling for the jar. Use red cardboard for the cheeks of Pikachu, add eyes, and glue ears on the back of the jar and you have the loveable yellow critter!cardboard
Pokemon Pokeball Jars are Adorable and Filled with Goodies!
Arent’ these jars adorable? While they won’t be doing any Pokemon catching they will definitely catch everyone’s attention. More importantly, you will catch a few hands digging for the yummy filling. By the way, fill with anything that is red and white. How about marshmallows and strawberries? You can even think of filling the jar with white toys on the bottom and red ones on the top. Go for balls or even bottle tops. There is no right or wrong. You can customize to match your Poke-fans’ preferences!
