The Stars Were Out Early in Miami
It was hot, the sun was shinning bright and it seems the stars of the movie shone even brighter than that! The moment they stepped onto the green carpet they all charmed and were extremly gracious. Generous with everyone, they took their time for interviews. They also posed and signed authograpns. It was wonderful to see the leading roles of the film share their excitement for their work. In particular, they all did mention how proud they are as Latinos to be a part of this project. Eugenio Derbez, Eva Longoria and Isabela Moner all gave interivews in English and Spanish and underlines what an amazing experience it had been for them to work together.
Special Green Carpet Guests
You know Latino families are always together. The red carpet event for Dora and the Lost City of Gold was no exception! It was wonderful not only to see the stars interact as the new found family they feel they are, but also see so many family members in attendance. Fun fact, Jeff Wahlberg seemed to have the biggest number of family supporters on the carpet with him. He did point out his biggest fan is his mom, Vendecida Wahlberg. Yes, Isabela Moner also brought her mom out. But, the one that captured the most hearts was her dog Pluto. A three legged very friendly rescue dog that was adorable in his oversized bow tie. Of couse, he was a gentledog and did not out shine the ladies in their fabulous shimmering styles that definitvely echoed themes of the movie (jungle and gold).
Shimmering Style
Impeccable on point fashion was the concesnsus. As a matter of fact, we felt bad for Eugenio Deberz who wore a full suit and tie in dark colors. Nevertheless, if he was hot, he did not show it. He looked fresh at all times! Pluto, the three legged very friendly rescue dog was adorable in his oversized bow tie. Of couse, he was a gentledog and did not out shine the ladies in their fabulous shimmering styles that definitvely echoed themes of the movie (jungle and gold).
