I dare you not to say “Go Diego, Go” when you see Dora’s cousin on screen for the first time. The Live action film Dora and the Lost City of gold takes us on a new explorer adventure. We have Miami native Jeff Wahlberg Exclusive Intervew on his role as Diego in the movie.
Jeff Walhberg Exclusive Interview
Yes, he is the nephew of Mark Wahlberg. He is no stranger to acting. Jeff Wahlberg started our dabbing a bit into acting. Then he tired some modeling and is now back to acting with his biggest role to date. He is Diego in Dora and the Lost City of Gold. We welcomed him home and talked with him about the movie during the red carpet event for the movie.
What do you hope people watching the movie with takeaway
Jeff Wahlberg did not miss a beat to tell us: “I hope the takeaway laughter love and connection and I hope they have half a good time watching it as much as I did making it!”.
On his famous uncles
Jeff shared that he definitively looks up to them and finds them inspiring. He tries not to think about the pressure to continue the family acting legacy.
About that dance …..
Yes, there is a number and Jeff is part of it. When we asked him how he felt about it, he shared that it was actually how he met the rest of the cast in the dance. The moment he landed he was taken to dance and dance he did! It was probably the best thing that happened to him because it helped break the ice with his co-stars and it was an opportunity to get to know each other quickly in a more relaxed (yet demanding) way.
Go Diego Go!
No one could deny Jeff Wahlberg was having the time of his life on the red carpet. He was surrounded by family and was extremely happy to be sharing the moment with them. It was heartwarming to watch.
