Angry Birds 2 Movie Review
Slap stick and toilet humor meets hit songs and a new band of friends on a quest. Here is our parental guide and movie review:
Parental Guide
ACTION – VIOLENCE
Birds and Pigs start the movie where they left off: fighting each other. Soon though, they will put aside their differences and unite to protect against a common enemy. This will take them on a new adventure. So expect action. Even from a trio of cute birds and their piggy friends. Beause these characters are at odds with each othere, there is violence. Not gory or bloody. But violence all the same.
LANGUAGE AND GESTURES
There is tons of toilet humor and bums that show.
INTENSE MOMENTS
The smallest ones will be a bit worried for the team of friends as they lauch their plan to disarm their new enemy. The ymight also be concerned when the cute little birds go on their side adventure.
Movie Review: Fun Times with Feathered Friends, Pig Snot and Sling Shots.
Get ready for laughs and jokes that will go over your kids’ heads. The movie is silly and does engage. It also is deeper than the original in topics it touches but doesn’t dwell much on. Take fo rexample:
- self-esteem
- trust
- team work
To mention a couple.
The movie keeps a moving pace and never stay long in one place which does keep everyone entertained. There is a newcomer that will keep girls cheering on. That is Silver, a overachieving intelligent bird that reminds us the importance of STEM.
Granted it is a simple plot. Angry Birds 2 makes for good entertainment for the entire family and you don’t need to give yourself homework watching the first movie to understand and enjoy this one.
