Wow, there is so much news coming out of D23 Expo! This year the scoop on what is new for the Disney Parks is massive. Here alone I share the Breaking News on All New Things At Epcot! Don’t know D23 Expo is? Get to know what the ultimate Disney fan event is all about here. It is a massive overdose of all things Disney, Marvel, and Pixar that showcases the magic to come. This event is held every two years, and yes, it is a must do. But I digress. Time to talk about the exciting magic that will happen soon at Epcot!
A D23 Expo New Experiences Reveal For Epcot
Admitedly, it is difficult to choose one park for me to call my favorite. The Disney Parks have something for eveyrone and I find something in each of them that I call my favorite. Nevertheless, Epcot relives our traveling adventures. It also gets my STEM oriented child day dreaming and well, can you say Food and Wine? I will ride Test Track over and over again and pretend to speak French in France as I much on something absolutely delicious from the pastry shop. While other parks have been getting new rides and experiences, I have been happy loving good old Epcot. Now, we are set for some major pixie dust coming to the park. And no, don’t worry, the festivals are staying.

What is new around the World Showcase?
The United Kingdom pavilion
Adventure awaits at house number 1y! The Bank’s family and maybe Lin-Manuel Miranda will welcome you at Cherry Tree Lane for some wondrous expericences inspired by Mary Poppins. I am so making my umbrella cookies to toast to this one!
Will be the the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park. It will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over, carrying them away harmoniously on a stream of familiar Disney tunes reinterpreted by a diverse group of artists from around the globe. “HarmonioUS” will feature massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers and more.
The France pavilion
Two years ago we heard first about it at D23 Expo. In summer 202 we finally get to ride the much-anticipated attraction Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Get ready to shrink “a la Toy Story Land”, size of Chef Remy and race through Gusteau’s restaurant on a wild adventure.We will also have a chance to indulge in French flavors at the new La Crêperie de Paris restaurant offering both table- and quick-service options featuring a menu from celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse. Jaw drop! As if these two tidbits were not enough, In January the new “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along,” will have us recounting this tale as old as time with music.
China and Canada
Both country pavillions are set for new feature films to amaze us.
What is new in Celebration?
A new narration and music score will give a magical “story light” to the iconic voyage through time as the journey transforms to reflect the power of storytelling to unite the human experience. Guest will experience life in dynamic ways, giving each scene energy and beauty that ties the entire journey together.
Call it the home base for Epcot’s signature festivals. It will provide a stunning elevated view of the entire park and an ideal spot to witness Epcot’s nighttime spectacular.
A New Epcot Entrance Plaza
New experiences that connect guests with the world around them, welcoming them with a reimagined fountain, new pathways and sweeping green spaces that beautify the entryway. The design will pay homage to the origins of Epcot.
What is new for the World Nature?
A Moana Inspired Experience!
Journey of Water will be the first experience inspired by the hit Walt Disney Animation Studios film. This lush exploration trail will invite guests to meet and play with magical, living water. The water will have a life of its own – just like Moana’s friend, the ocean – and guests will learn about the importance of the natural water cycle.
This is the new film for The Land pavilion. Naturally, it will showcase the beauty, diversity and dynamic story of the planet. It opens in January 2020.

The future is here! Science, Technology and intergalactic adventures come to life via fantastic stories!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Pause, insert screms. YAAAAS!!! This will be the first “other-world” showcase pavilion at Epcot. The adventure starts in the “Galaxarium,” a planetarium-like exhibition that explores the similarities and mysteries of the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xandar. Guests will be invited to learn more about the treasures Xandar has to share – until the moment when the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive, and adventures across the cosmos ensue. The attraction will feature a new innovation from Walt Disney Imagineering – a storytelling coaster that rotates 360 degrees to focus guests on the action, including the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster. The new restaurant Space 220
It will be a culinary experience featuring the celestial panorama of a space station, including daytime and nighttime views of Earth from 220 miles up. Guests will board a special elevator for a journey to a space station that is home to an incredible dining experience. Once they arrive, guests will enjoy fantastic meals and drinks while taking in views that are truly out of this world. Opens this winter.

Is it 2020 yet! I simply can’t wait. Guardians of the Galaxy, Fance and The UK pavillion have me beyond excited for Epcot’s transformation.
