Is the pool calling you? Ready for amagical pool party? If you are planning a Disney Pool Party you will want to of course feature and Awesome DIY Mickey Pool Noodle! This hidden Mickey of sorts is a great piece of conversations. It also serves as great themed decor and more importantly, it delivers tons of fun. Yes, you can totally use it for two or three different types of games!
Awesome DIY Mickey Pool Noodle
No matter where you set it, just look how much fun this Mickey Pool Noodle screams! It was a cool family activity trying to figure out how to come up with the best way to make it. How do you make a Mickey Pool Noodle? It is as easy as it looks, here are the details:
Materials:
- Three pool noodles
- A thin PVC pipe
- Plastic ribbon
Procedure:
- Cut your PVC pipe into three 10 cms pieces.
- Get a pool noodle and insert a PVC piece into its interior hole and connect the rest of the noodle so that you can form an “O” shape.
- Cut 15 cms off the remaining noodles
- Repeat step number 2 with the two remaining noodles
- Tie the smaller circles in place on the larger circle with the plastic ribbon.
And you are done!
Cool mom tip: if you want to glue the ends of the noodle after inserting the pipe, you can. If you use a glue gun, you need to hold the pieces in place until the glue completely cools off. Give it at least two minutes.

I can totally picture this Mickey Pool Noodle as your door “wreath” to greet guests. I love placing it over our pool towel rack. It does create the most magic in the pool itself where we used if for these games:

I am so very happy that this very simple easy craft has brought hours of great fun in the pool. The best part of it all is that I made it in under 20 minutes.
You are going to love it. I want to make more in several color combinations because well #nowmorethanever 🙂 To pair it with some fun Disney inspired food, I will make our The Incredibles Mickey cookies but will change up the colors to match our Mickey Pool Noodle. The superhero mask will turn into a pair of pool goggles!
Plus, I am mixing in some ice cream cookies because why not 🙂
