Playing with Fire is in theaters in November 8th. So, I wanted to share these 6 Playing with Fire Movie Fun Facts for this rated PG film along with my movie review.
Playing with Fire Movie Fun Facts
John Cena is back on the big screen. He rounds up the troops in a movie sprinkled with some tender moments and slapstick humor that will have the kids in stitches. Here is our movie review and parental guide.
Is The Playing With Fire Movie Kid-Friendly?
Because this is always a big question despite the ratings, I will say I believe it is. The storyline is about family. Getting this new family in place will elicit laughs and a sweet path to get there.
6 Playing With Fire Movie Cool Facts
This feels like a classic story of the Big muscle man who has to unexpectedly deal with children, but in the end, he is really a big teddy bear.
John Cena takes his shirt off in the movie. It is still all rated family-friendly but it sure is extra eye candy. No, he does not take his shirt off just once or twice. I actually lost count. I was a bit distracted.
Poop and yucky moments:
There are tons of poop jokes but there is one that just gets out of hand and goes to far.
On the plus side, there is no language I can remark on.
All About Family:
The firehouse sure is a family in itself. I love the friendship and loyalty undertones. The troop supports each other and are there to help them overcome their weaknesses.
Love blossoms and there is some minor kissing and the new blended type family is the result of the storyline.
The one-liners are great. The movie opens with fab humor that sets expectations high. That said, the slapstick humor goes a bit far with nail guns and oil spills which could awaken little one’s curiosity to be funny at home. Have a talk with them!!! Humor can edge on the mean side.
Firemen are Heroes:
Not necessary a fun fact as much as a reality of life, right? I love that firefighters are the focus. In reality, it is about smokejumpers, crucial to fighting. Wild Fires.
Playing With Fire Review
This movie is super fun for the little ones, and parents will be bored. The story is a bit forced as predictable. Why do the kids need to be so mean? Why are two grown men changing a baby’s diaper? And yes that girl was not supposed to be in diapers anymore. Some humor is cute and well-executed. You will get big laughs for the littles. Besides the Playing With Fire Movie Cool Facts, I love that it opened my kids’ eyes to a new profession and their borderline superhero important work.
There are great one-liners that are part of the jokes.
So, have you heard about smoke jumper firemen before?
Get ready to paint it pink!!!
