Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season Two
No doubt, season 1 ended with a bang. So, can season 2 top it? I can tell you right now, that it explodes with the first episode. Action-packed and filled with heart this season will not disappoint. We watched until we could no more. And now, we are craving season 3 like mad!!! You are going to love it. For sure, one of the things I like most of this show is that co-watching is fun. Moreover, it gets kids (at least my kids) geeking out over science and STEM. Score! Thank you DreamWorks. And, of course, a big thank you to executive producer Scott Kreamer not only for his time for the interview. But also, for such a cool series!
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season Two: Interview With Executive Producer Scott Kreamer
We zoomed with Scott, and quickly we discovered that his favorite all-time dinosaur is the T-Rex. He has a favorite episode from season 2 but didn’t want to spoil it for us. Nevertheless, he did admit to loving episodes 6,7, and 8 from season 1. Have you seen those? If, you are wondering what Scott would tell us about season 2, he summarizes it as:” “I would say that we’re going to see our kids not only figure out how to survive on this island but also figure out how to get reduced. There are more dinosaurs, there is more action than they saw before.”.
Jurassic Park and Jurassic World
You can expect Easter eggs, my friends. Furthermore, Scott shared that “ (we) didn’t want to shy away from the scariness. We wanted the stakes to be real without it being bloody.”
We are stronger when we stick together
Just like the kids in the show, Scott tells us that “we are stronger when we stick together” While the kids do it to survive, his team did it to deliver a cool series for us. He tells how the pandemic had everyone working from home. Trust and working together we the key to us being able to enjoy a new season. “We’ve done a lot on Zoom, with a surprise baby shower and team building events. It’s like the show, ‘we’re stronger when we stick together.” Plus, Scott does mention that kids are stronger than we give them credit for.
Research, Dino Experts and the Museum of Natural History
The writer and Scott have been: “down to the Museum of Natural History and poured over the dinosaurs. DreamWorks also brought in people from the Natural History Museum here in Los Angeles, and they were showing the different ways that (dinosaurs) act and move. We’ve done a lot of research.. At the end of the day, a lot of research has gone in to get involved and look at these dinosaurs as animals and not monsters.”
