Netflix A Week Away Fun Facts
It was interesting to hear what the cast had to share. I particularly enjoyed these fun facts:
- This is the first feature film for Kat and Jahbril. I was blown away to find this out after watching them pour their hearts out dancing on screen!
- In addition to singing and dancing her heart out in the leading role of the movie, Bailee Madison also co-produced the film. It was a first for her and she loved every minute of it.
- All of the actor concur in loving best the musical scenes. Bailee Madison shared her favorite numbers are “Good Enough” and “Let’s Go Make a Memory”.
- Kevin said his favorite song was “God Only Knows.” He also shared that making this film affirmed his beliefs.
- Jahbril really wanted to do his stunts, but he was limited to trying out a few. Because, his hair was so difficult to style that it was a no go for him.
- Kevin had bronchitis during the filming of the movie.
About A Week Away
A Week Away is the first faith-based musical of its kind. Troubled teen Will Hawkins (Kevin Quinn) has a choice to make – go to juvenile detention or attend a Christian summer camp. While at camp, and with the help of his music, new friends and love interest (Bailee Madison), he learns the healing powers of kindness, forgiveness, and faith can be found in the most unlikely of places.
Soon I will share my movie review with you. So, be on the look out for it. I can already tell you it will get more than one crossing their fingers for a summer camp this year!
